I went to submit a piece today for the first time in forever, and was met with a peculiar agreement contract, one that i suppose everyon else ran into eons ago. Being me I read the entire fucking thing, and as such find myself regrettably unable to post further things on this site, because they are able to be republished reproduced by other companies we are basically referred to for marketing, also that DA can use us/our stuff for their own marketing without us being allowed to complain / get payment.

I have a book I want to send in for publishing mid-august, and was planning to put some parts of it (poems/short pieces) for commentary/editing, however due to the new policy I find myself incapable of this particular feat and may be retracting art work already posted, due to the ambiguous nature of these new terms, especially considering the orriginal contract we agreed to to join DA that states they can change the terms/usage contract we agreed to at anytime and unless we complain it's still binding. so basically i didnt agree to this 'new contract' jus tnow, but it doesnt matter because theoretically i already did. hmm. joy. and that removal for no reason thing means that you better have yourorriginal files on your computer, not edited ones, because you need the encrypted date on the source file for your piece in order to have copyright proof, because if one of their little side business company things takes your artwork DA can delete it on here and let them pretend its theirs / they had it first if you make an issue of it, because there wont be a record here.

And yes I may be mmaking DA out to be an incredible villian, but it is the 21st century, and DA is a corporation, and it really IS all about the money.
